Energy

We participate in a company-wide Continuous Energy Improvement (CEI) program to identify and implement low and no-cost opportunities to save energy. We have also made long-term investments to improve the energy efficiency of our facilities.

Recycled Yarn

Our Waste Management/Recycling Team’s sole objective is to manage the waste stream through recycling and the maximization of waste-to-energy operations. The group also conducts ongoing searches for companies that buy waste for new and different end uses. To create awareness and stimulate demand for recycled materials, we market a range of fabrics with yarns that are made from plastic bottles.

Clean Air

State-of-the-art equipment filters the exhaust from our facilities with 99% efficiency, returning air that is cleaner than the atmosphere. The units require little energy to run and reuse 97% of the water required to operate.

Water

Less water means less energy usage. Therefore, we installed meters on all water-use machines allowing us to measure and monitor–because every drop is precious. We also recycle water, store it for reuse, and have a vigilant leak repair/prevention initiative.
