Licensed Plumber
Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:
- Installs, maintains, and repairs all process steam and water, domestic water and steam, sanitary systems, pneumatic systems.
- Utilizes pipe threaders, welding equipment and various other tools used in trade.
- Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows codes, blueprints, and standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.
- Ensure adequate inventory of necessary plumbing supplies and parts.
- Ability to work in a safe, responsible and professional manner, independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work with and respond to general maintenance issues with some experience and understanding of piping, rigging, HVAC, welding, pumps and gearboxes.
- Perform other related maintenance department duties as required.
- Must be willing to work overtime when required and on call for emergencies.
Work schedule: 1st Shift – 7:00am to 3:30pm with a ½ hour lunch
Pay: Salary depends on experience
Qualifications/Requirements:
Completion of a plumber program at a technical or trade school preferred, current plumber’s license. 2-3 years industrial plumber experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Driver’s license.
