Packer/Warehouse
Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:
Operate packing line for cased goods which includes scanning into ERP system and labeling. Transport and maintain cased goods and consumable materials within warehouse storage with regards to location and cleanliness. Perform cycle counts periodically to ensure accuracy of cased goods inventory. Pull cased goods from warehouse location(s) to stage for shipment, complete consolidations/case break ups, etc. Put packing slips on cases, matching packing slip to case number. Check manifest, packing slip(s) and bill of lading for accuracy with regards to case numbers, weights, transport carriers and consignee addresses. Use of equipment such as; packing line scale, conveyor, banding strapper, band saw cutter, fork lift, hoist, freight elevator, motorized pallet jack, orbital shrink wrapper in accordance with standard operating procedures. Must be willing to work overtime when required.
Work schedule:1st shift – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a ½ hour lunch
Pay: Up to $23.04 per hour
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must be able to read, write and do simple arithmetic. Must be a licensed fork lift
operator or be able to be trained on a fork lift. Continuous standing, walking, bending and frequent physical effort handling heavy material. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Intermittent stretching, climbing and reaching.
