FRAME OPERATOR

Pay :Up to $23.67 per hour plus $1.20 per hour shift differential

 

Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Receives information from supervision as to sequence of lots for processing any special instructions.
  • Reviews each process card for a clear understanding of procedures and the process of each lot.
  • Refers to the S.O.P. for required set-up procedures.
  • Performs all necessary equipment set-ups and chemical formulations according to the process card and S.O.P for the fabric being processed.
  • Records all necessary information on process/production sheet.
  • Assists and directs service help and/or inspector as necessary.

Work schedule:3rd Shift – 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
(Shift premium of $1.20 per hour)

UTILITY THREADER

Pay: Up to $22.12 per hour plus $1.20 per hour shift differential

 

Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Draws in yarn from each warp following drafts or design pattern.
  • Combs ends to straighten before tying. Using hand held dauber, threads yarn through guides.
  • Patrols front and back alley of machines, inspects for processing defects or malfunctioning mechanical parts on machine, stops, repairs and restarts machine after correcting defect cause.
  • Verifies proper tension and number of yarns requiring measurement.
  • Records warp tension reading onto report sheet.
  • Intricate machine set up and break down, including cleaning small parts.

Work schedule: 3rd Shift   11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
(Shift premium of $1.20 per hour)

FRAME INSPECTOR

Pay: Up to $22.12 per hour plus $1.20 per hour shift differential

 

Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Assists in the start-up of each lot.  
  • Assists in checking and monitoring of width, hole count, and roll presentation.  
  • Constantly visually inspects for defects, entering all defects into the computer or recording them onto the inspection sheet.  
  • Reports any severe, continuous defects or problems to supervision.  
  • Cuts and identifies all required samples.  
  • Completes all necessary fabric information on the process card. Assists Serviceperson in material preparation and roll changes when possible.  
  • Maintains a clean work area.

Work schedule: 3rd Shift   11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
(Shift premium of $1.20 per hour)

UTILITY FIXER

Pay: Up to $25.35 per hour plus $1.20 per hour shift differential

 

Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintains knitting machines keeping them in top operating condition, replaces worn or broken parts, makes proper mechanical adjustments, as the fabric quality dictates, corrects all mechanical malfunctions that cause greige fabric defects.
  • Checks: runner lengths, Lycra tensions, take-up gears, automatic let-offs, pattern wheels, (and/or chain links) and confirms that the correct material has been loaded into the machine at every style change.
  • Prepares and sets-up machines, and confirms that the correct material has been loaded for warp changes and machine start-ups.
  • Periodically patrols front and back of alley of machines, inspects for processing defects or malfunctioning mechanical parts on machine.

Work schedule: 3rd Shift 11:00PM to 7:00 AM
